00:00What's your definition of black art?
00:04For me, it's real simple.
00:06It's like, you know, art that's created from, you know, by us, you know, like from the melanated diaspora.
00:14You know, we come in so many shades.
00:16I think that melanated people are, you know, just have a natural ability to tap into frequencies that are of a higher vibration.
00:28So to me, I think black art is so many forms, like we're not a monolith, you know, like we can do so much and achieve so much.
00:37But I think it expands to culinary.
00:41I think it expands to, you know, beyond visual art.
00:44So for me, black art is just really about the fabric of our culture and how we express our creativity for me.
