00:00It's important to me when you talk about is there a there there and really one of the basis is that it's two times more likely for young people to take on leadership roles and when you think about how folks are hesitant to take that risk and responsibility, having a mentor pays it forward.
00:17They are becoming leaders earlier when they have a mentor. It's also good long term because people who've had a mentor end up earning as much as $200,000 or $300,000 more in their lifetime.
00:28And so it pays off and it moves folks up an economic ladder and so it's really important when we think about where are our communities today that black and brown youth need those opportunities for upward mobility and the economics pays off.
00:43It's also a good financial return for a business. Individuals who serve as mentors, they stay at their company longer.
00:58you
01:01have a company that makes it a good investment.
01:04So
01:05that's what you're seeing.
01:06So
01:07I'm just going to see if they're going to be able to take on leadership roles.
01:10I'm just going to be one of the ones that, as I said, one of the ones that I've met and said,
01:15because I've never touched on leadership roles.
01:17I'm just going to be one of the two points that you've met.
01:20And so I'm just going to be one of the ones that I've had.
