00:00so we're gonna do a quick demo you're gonna do it or yeah absolutely so I'm
00:09sure many of you guys are familiar with wind beauty and all of the wonderful
00:13products they've launched I think it would be wonderful if the team could
00:16tell us a little bit about the inspiration behind the products and how
00:19you went about creating this brand well you start I mean I was going to talk
00:25about well I'll start this is one of my favorite products is a nothing to see
00:28concealer and I love it because I need a heavy concealer because I tend to have
00:32dark circles under my eyes because I don't sleep a lot and I stress out a lot
00:36and all that stuff but anyway I love it because it is very full coverage but it's
00:42super light so it feels like one of those concealers that are super super thick
00:46that you can put on under your eye but it when you put it on it's incredibly light
00:49it's so full coverage yeah the whole brand is created with products that are
00:54really easy to move in so just like our incredibly hard-working founder we wanted
00:59to make sure that all of our products would last from the day to the night time
01:03you can feel your best they're super breathable really lightweight and high
01:07performing not to mention clean which is even better yeah I love that so one of
01:14the most important things to anybody who's super active is staying hydrated
01:19whether that be drinking water or using products that hydrate and hydration is a
01:23key component of wins products can you tell us a little bit about the no words
01:28needed lip serum and the hydration elements in it yes absolutely so we set
01:33out to create a super innovative formula for lip serums right we know that lip
01:38oil is having a huge moment everybody loves a lip mask everybody loves an oil but we
01:42wanted to do something that was going to really absorb into the skin and be super
01:45lightweight again super breathable was really important and the hydration
01:49element was top tier so we actually created a proprietary blend that will
01:54hydrate your lips for up to 24 hours and it's great because I don't drink a ton of
01:59water I mean I should but you know it looks like I do when I'm wearing the
02:03hydrating serum yeah sometimes I'm fool everyone I think I'm drinking a gallon of
02:08water a day you gotta fake it till you make it sometimes that's that's the key so I
02:14think we should move into everybody's favorite yet the most personal section
02:19of makeup category and that's complexion so you guys launched 36 shades of your
02:25featuring you skin tint yes a round of applause for that because we need to see
02:30a whole lot more of that well we want to make sure that we are able to cover a
02:36wide variety of skin and even where we are there's always so much for me I'm
02:41always like there's always room for improvement there's always even more
02:43complexions that we want to be able to reach we want to be able to reach
02:45everyone and that's our goal is true diversity but one thing that I love
02:50about our skin tint is we have SPF in it and if you guys are here earlier I was
02:53talking about how I used to literally mix SPF and foundation way before I even
02:58knew what skin tint was because I just wanted to just have something I can put
03:01on my face really fast and so that's what we created here and I'll let
03:05Christina talk to it in a minute but it's like it's 30 SPF and I feel so
03:10good because now I can go outside with a nice clear face and sometimes I put it
03:13on my hand as a moisturizer and just kind of rub it in if you watch any of the
03:18videos that we do on when on social media you'll see me like just showing you how
03:21I just rub it in and it just really goes on smooth it really goes on clear and
03:25then I can go outside and still do whatever I need to do and not worry about
03:29sun damage yeah the formula is very very flexible again a little goes a long way and
03:35it's multi-use so you can really use a blender if you needed to you can use your
03:39fingers and you just get this really beautiful radiant finish it's so light
03:44like look how it just smooth it goes on so smooth absolutely and again speaking to
03:50hydration all of our complexion products again have our truly unstoppable hydro
03:55complex which will hydrate your skin for up to 72 hours it's incredible yeah that is
04:02that is really incredible and I'm sure on and off the court being able to have a
04:07multi-use product but also something that's protecting you from the Sun is so
04:12necessary yeah for me when we were creating this collection I'm a multi-use
04:17kind of girl I do a lot of things I wear a lot of hats and I want to make up to do
04:21the same thing I want makeup to wear a lot of hats I wanted to perform for me and I
04:25wanted to last and so that's what this does I mean everything that we have you can
04:30use it on so many different places and the one great thing about the Sun's
04:34protection aspect is that it's completely invisible so no matter what
04:38skin tone you are no matter what shade you choose you'll get that protection
04:41without having any sort of white cast which is really important yes we love an
04:45easy product and I know everybody out here we've all experienced the New
04:49Orleans heat we've all experienced the New Orleans Sun and let me tell you next
04:54year I am going to be packing that to make my life so much easier it's so
05:00perfect for the temperature and the climate so speaking of perfect I've seen
05:04the latest thing which is tubing mascaras and you guys recently launched
05:10your big vision tubing mascara can you tell me a little bit about the aspects of
05:15that product what should the people know about it what sets a tubing mascara apart
05:19why should everybody forget the mascara that they're currently using and
05:23purchase this one I'll take that if that's okay so the tubing mascara that
05:30we've created is phenomenal first we have a really interesting brush the brush tips
05:37have different lengths and they go all the way around and you have a curved end and
05:41you have a flat end and this is really going to ensure that you're working the
05:44product from the root to the tip and the reason why tubing mascaras are having such a
05:48big moment and why they're so fun to use is because they actually wrap each and
05:52every lash with a conic technology and it creates almost a false lash effect
05:57without having to glue any lashes on and it's also waterproof it's smudge proof it
06:01doesn't crumble again super high performance you can't you can't beat it I
06:07mean it literally looks like she has on fake lashes yeah
06:12so in the eye department we all know that no look is complete without a winged eye look everybody
06:24has their signature eyeliner that they do whether that be a cat eye whether that be
06:30something a little bit more exaggerated can you tell us a little bit about the
06:34glide line waterproof eyeliner and Serena especially for you you obviously are a style icon in all of the
06:41hats that you wear everywhere that you go and one of the major things that a lot of
06:46people have taken from your experience on the court and watching you is how
06:50you're able to transcend just sport and style and combine everything into one and
06:55one of your most signature looks is your eyeliner on the court can you tell us a
06:59little bit about the inspiration and how that fueled the launch of the glide line
07:03eyeliner yeah the glide line eyeliner is something I'm super proud about is
07:08something that I wanted to launch for sure with our original first part of our
07:13launch I started wearing eyeliner in the second half of my career because I was
07:18like I gotta look better on the court quite frankly people are seeing me and
07:23they're like well you need to fix yourself so I so I found this crazy eyeliner and it
07:31was so hard to use but I did it because you know for the you know beauty is pain
07:35sometimes our beauty is not but you know sometimes it is and I just would just paint
07:41on these eyes and it became this thing where I was just always have this crazy
07:45eyeliner while I'm playing and running and being so strong and so I love that
07:49term beauty is strength and strength is beauty and just because you have one
07:53doesn't mean you can't have the other and and that's not just in sport it's just
07:58like life if you are a strong woman or if you are a strong person that doesn't mean
08:02that you can't be beautiful at the same time on the inside and on the outside and
08:06so anyway our eyeliner is waterproof which is very important to me and it is so
08:12easy to put on and the like it I don't have to struggle anymore the way I had
08:18super I wish I had this when I was playing but I didn't and I wanted to make
08:21sure it was very dark and like super super black so you can kind of make sure
08:26you really see it so it has a really great precision tip felt on it so it's
08:32really easy it's not too long it's the perfect length it gets into all the
08:35details you kind of just flick your wrist and get the perfect winged liner so that
08:40way we can emulate obviously Miss Serena herself so it's a it's a really
08:44wonderful product so yeah the with the precision tip you can go as thin as you
08:47want or you can go as thick as you want some days my eyeliner was way thicker than I
08:52meant it to be but I had to get out there and play and I didn't have time to
08:55fix it actually I was more of a one kind of go kind of person I was like if
08:59it's thick today it's thick if it's thin it's thin we'll we'll figure it out but
09:04that was just what I had to do but with this precision tip we can go thicker we
09:08can go thinner you can add to it and again it is super light and it lasts all day
09:14long that's one of the most important things I hate when you do an eyeliner and
09:19you spend so much time to make it perfect and you've got the tape on your
09:23face then you got to blend the concealer back into the line so you don't have
09:27hard lines on your face and then when you come home you're like wait my
09:30eyeliner is all over my face why did I spend so long stenciling this thing for
09:36it to be all over my face especially when your place is like New Orleans when
09:40it's so hot and you're sweating and you're active it's just so great to have
09:43products that you can rely on and know that the way you leave the house is how
09:48you're going to return that's one of the most important things in beauty so
09:53speaking of that the word of mouth matte lip you can see there are so many
09:59shades that reach so many undertones and allow for everybody to enjoy a colorful
10:05lip what are some of your favorite colors in that range well one of my
10:10favorite colors is whisper I'm obsessed with our this color I'm actually wearing it
10:14now it's called I always forget the name of it so I'm gonna take a peek
10:18greet so I actually just started using greet recently because I've been obsessed
10:23with the whispers and the sings but now I use greet actually as a lip liner
10:28because it's so dark yeah and sometimes even do the full lip in greet and then I
10:33go back in with one of our other lighter shades oh and it just oh my god I love
10:37playing with all this stuff though so this is really cool obviously you don't have to
10:41use it as a lip liner but I'm just using my product as much as I can as often as I
10:45can to try you know full wind face but I just love all these different deep
10:52tones and when we first did these tones they're like Serena every color you
10:56chose was like a nice warm deep do you want to do anything bright like a bright
11:00red or like a bright bright and I was like okay we'll add a few of those but but my
11:06whole vibe this whole season and like when I knew what the launch was my whole
11:09vibe was just to do like mutes and nice nudes and just to be on that trend and I
11:14feel like we pretty much nailed it but I don't know I love all the deep colors
11:19are really fun to work with yeah and even the wind specific bright shades have
11:23really beautiful balanced undertones so no matter what range you're in whether
11:28it's rich deep or the fairest you'll find something that is suitable for your
11:32skin tones and a lot of them are interchangeable again you can layer them you
11:36can create your own lip combos we have the matte lip and then we also have a
11:39more satin finish lipstick as well that you can kind of mix and match to create
11:43your own lip combo but it's really really beautiful formula and this again
11:47also has a 24-hour hydration claim as well so you get that matte finish you get
11:52it all day and it's not gonna dry out it's not gonna look cakey it's just gonna
11:56look really beautiful and blurred all day and I love a matte lip that's my thing but I
12:01love to put a matte not add like our lip oil and I love how our matte lip doesn't
12:06necessarily dry your lips out cuz I've had a lot of matte lips out though which I
12:09love but then I'll come home and I'm like you know but I told you I was gonna get
12:17serious I'm working on it but but I love how our matte lip does provide that 24
12:23hour moisture absolutely so when we kicked off you talked a little bit about the
12:29concealer Christina I would love to know some of the ingredients elements in the
12:34concealer what really sets this concealer apart from what's out there on the
12:38market yeah this this concealer is phenomenal it also has the 72 or excuse
12:45me the 72 hour hydration complex which is so important because under your eye you
12:50can get really dry you can get really creepy which is the reason why we use so
12:53much skincare under that area so this formula is actually self-setting you don't
12:58have to apply different powders it's long wear it wears beautifully it blends
13:03beautifully into the skin and we have 20 different shades so you are bound to find
13:07the shades that perfect that's perfect for your under eye for sure that's
13:12wonderful I'm obsessed with the because I can't leave home without concealer so
13:18this is a product that is literally in my purse like three sticks of it though
13:22because I use different shades on different days depending on how much I've been in
13:26the Sun you guys understand so I am truly obsessed with the concealer I love the
13:32versatility of all of the products and the fact that you guys really focus on
13:37incorporating all of the elements that you know make makeup fun but also make it
13:43realistic for the everyday active busy person I love that you said that because I
13:47want to make it very realistic I want it to be for that everyday person and I
13:52understand like I love going out in a full glam look but if you catch me in
13:56Florida I do not look like this I'm more of that everyday girl that is you know I'll
14:01put on you know a little concealer and our skin tint and some mascara maybe a
14:04little cheek and that I'm more of three two to three minute kind of makeup because
14:08my kids are screaming and one screaming and the others watching TV and I'm like get
14:12off the TV and it's just I don't have time for that so I'm like I feel like a lot of
14:16people are like me and in real life and so for me it was really about making a
14:21product that literally everyone can use whether you live in Florida like I do or
14:26somewhere else and so I felt like this is what everyday people and that's kind of
14:31what I wanted to make sure I cater to so I would yeah everyone clap it up clap it up
14:40so I always ask at the end when we have a little bit more time if you could
14:46describe your brand in three words so if you had to describe when beauty in
14:51three words what would those three words be oh I'll do it I'll start I would
14:57say authentic I would say everyday and I would say long-lasting those are three
15:03phrases does that work that counts okay that counts okay I would say skin
15:10loving I would say high performance and I would say intentional your words are
15:18better than mine I'm stealing those those are those are really great words so I'm
15:25sure everybody I'm sure you guys are all very excited to try when beauty
15:30experience when beauty and after seeing so much of the hard work that
15:36Christina and Serena have put towards developing these products I think it
15:41would be so great if people can get an understanding of hey where they can
15:45stay up to speed with everything when beauty and if there's anything they
15:49should be out they should be on the lookout for yeah well you can always find
