00:00How to play Minecraft on your mobile phone? Updated 2026.
00:04We'll start by looking for Mojo Launcher. You can find it on its GitHub page or directly on the Google Play Store by searching for "Mojo Launcher".
00:12This is an update to the old Bohab launcher that I made a tutorial for last year.
00:18You can install it directly from the Play Store as it does not contain viruses.
00:30Once you have installed Mojo Launcher on your phone, we will proceed to open it.
00:46It will ask if you want to receive notifications. I chose no since I'm not interested in them for tutorial-related content.
00:52As you can see, Mojo Launcher allows you to use your Microsoft account, your EliBuy account, or a local account.
00:57For the purposes of this tutorial, we will use a local account.
01:01Once we log in with the local account, we will see that version 1.12.2 is the default.
01:07However, you can install other versions.
01:09Here you can either use modified versions, read the Forge, Quill, Fabric, NeoForge launcher, or directly use a Vanilla edition.
01:18If you want to install mods, you will need to choose Forge, Fabric, or the mod you need.
01:23We will select Vanilla since we will not be installing any mods.
01:26Here you can enter the name of the version you want, as well as select the version.
01:31We select from releases because they are the stable versions that Minecraft has.
01:35For the purposes of this tutorial, I will choose version 1.5.
01:38However, as you can see, it has almost all the versions released by Minecraft.
01:42We won't change anything in the default controls, as they work very well as they are.
01:49Share it atas will be where your Minecraft files are stored.
01:52They are usually already stored in the internal storage of a cell phone, so there shouldn't be any problems.
01:56JVM arguments, I mentioned that in the last tutorial, so if you want to see what it means, watch the tutorial; I'll leave the link here.
02:04Next, we will also select the Java Runtime and the renderer.
02:08It's best to leave all of this at the default settings, as it chooses the fastest versions for your phone.
02:13Don't forget that to play Minecraft on your mobile phone you need a phone with decent specifications for the time.
02:19That is, at least 2 to 4 GB of RAM and at least 5 GB of free storage.
02:25If you don't have internal storage, you can save it to an SD card if your phone is compatible with it.
02:32We will click on play in the version we selected and wait for the system to download.
02:37Once this is done, we can proceed to play.
02:55As you can see, once you click play, the system will enter the game.
03:01It will start on a slightly strange screen, but you'll see that you can play in the Minecraft launcher.
03:06You can see that it has the classic Minecraft options, whether playing locally or in multiplayer.
03:12If you're going to play multiplayer, simply select multiplayer and add a server.
03:17In this field you will enter the server address.
03:19You could type Goal 1993 and it would take you directly to the server.
03:24Of course, it depends on the version.
03:26You can do this in agreement with your friends and the server.
03:29Or if you prefer to play in single player mode, you can do so.
03:41In the graphics settings section, I recommend you keep everything at the minimum so your phone doesn't overload and you can play Minecraft comfortably.
03:49Because often if you turn everything up to the maximum or increase the settings a little, you may experience some lag.
03:55I recommend that you follow the settings I'm showing in the video so you don't have lag problems in your game.
04:19And that's it, it's that easy to install Moho Launcher on your Android phone.
