As his side prepare to welcome Leeds United to Stamford Bridge, Chelsea head coach Liam Rosenior reflects on his first month in charge at the club
Transcript
00:00Tomorrow will be a month since your first match in charge. It's very clear that you're enjoying your time here.
00:06Do you feel like your message is getting across to the players and how you want to feel?
00:10I think so. It takes time, but in terms of what's been really encouraging and really pleasing is that the players have taken on so much information.
00:21So many team meetings, not many training sessions, and they've put into practice what we've wanted in the main.
00:28And so, yeah, pleasing, pleasing signs, but we need to continue in that vein.
00:32A lot of players have spoken quite positively about you and the impact you've had in the last few days.
00:37Does it feel to you like you're making an impression on them?
00:42Yeah, I think so. I think it's my job, to be honest.
00:46Yeah, it's always nice when players speak well of you. Most of the time they just want to stay in the team.
00:51So I take it with a smile.
00:55No, I think you can see, whether it's Cole or Zhao or Enzo or Moy, all of them, Andre, the defenders,
01:04they're playing with a real enthusiasm at the moment. They're enjoying their football.
01:07And as a coach, that's very pleasing to see, because if you don't play with enthusiasm,
01:11you don't play with energy or intensity.
01:13So at the moment, things are looking good.
01:15We have to continue. The demands have gone up.
01:18It's going to be a physical game tomorrow,
01:20but the signs are looking really, really good for what we want to achieve together.
