00:00The world that my character comes from, it's an island nation.
00:03It's the island of Numenor, which is essentially Tolkien's take on the myth of Atlantis.
00:09And so I do spend some time in the water.

00:12And I am not myself a water baby, but there was something really lovely about having a challenge as a person, me, Cynthia,
00:21also having this character with a challenge.
00:23And so I had to do some water work that was so terrifying for me personally,
00:28so that when I was able to achieve it, I felt the triumph of, like, I can't believe I did that, but I did.
00:35And there was a really nice alignment of my experience and this character's experience.
00:41So, you know, sometimes the gift of this job is it's throwing you into situations that you would never sign up for,
00:48that you would never predict.
00:49And there you are riding the horse, swimming underwater, doing all kinds of crazy things.
00:56And really, I think it's a healthy thing to always challenge yourself and learn something about yourself in the process
01:02and feel triumphant in that.
