00:00What's up Netflix fans? If you've been glued to your screen watching the brand new series Black
00:05Rabbit, you are definitely not alone. This gripping crime thriller, led by the incredible
00:11talents of Jude Law and Jason Bateman, has absolutely exploded onto the streaming charts.
00:17It quickly dominated Netflix's coveted number one spot worldwide, and now everyone is asking
00:22the same burning question, will we actually get a second season? The first season delivered a dark
00:28and tense, and tragic story centered on the two brothers. When the character played by Jason Bateman
00:34sees his gambling debt spiral, completely out of BS. Control, his brother Jake, portrayed by Jude Law,
00:42desperately tries to save him from the dangerous influence of a man named Manguso. Jake's schemes
00:48become increasingly reckless, and dangerous, escalating from insurance fraud to full-blown
00:54restaurant heists, all in a frantic attempt to pull his brother back from the brink.
00:58The season culminates in an absolutely devastating conclusion, where Bateman's character tragically
01:04takes his own life, leaving viewers emotionally shattered, but full of critical praise for the
01:11show's raw authenticity. So, what about a potential season two? Here is the official reality check.
01:17Black Rabbit was originally conceived, and marketed as a limited series, which typically means the story
01:24concludes after one season. Because of this, no official season two announcement currently exists.
01:30However, don't lose hope just yet. Netflix has a well-known history of expanding supposed limited
01:35series, like, The Watcher, and 13 reasons why, when audience demand proves to be completely
01:42overwhelming. The creators themselves have publicly expressed their openness to continuing Jake's story,
01:48And with the show's chart-topping success, Netflix might be seriously reconsidering its original
01:54plans. If renewed, we can fully expect Jude Law to return as Jake, now attempting to live a quiet life
02:00as a bartender while being haunted by the ghost of his dress, Brother's Death. The mysterious antagonist
02:06Manguso remains largely unexplored, offering rich storytelling potential for a new season. Jake's new life might seem
02:13peaceful on the surface, but his dark past could easily resurface and pull him back into the criminal
02:19underworld. What do you think? Should Netflix screen like Black Rabbit for season two? Drop your
02:24theories in the comments below, and be sure to subscribe for more updates.
