00:00generational trauma generational trauma yeah that's what the film is really kind of talking
00:05about um you know it's how things are sort of passed down and um and I think I think it's it's
00:12a perfect ending for the movie because um you know it doesn't feel triumphant in any way it's
00:18not like oh it's all wrapped up in a bow and everybody's okay now it feels again like I think
00:24in keeping with the movie as a whole it feels very truthful um and honest as to what likely
00:30would be the scenario and that if this really happened and was really witnessed by a child
00:35um that would be something that would be incredibly um traumatic and would would be if not dealt with
00:42properly would be carried on throughout her life as well and so I think there's still hope you know
00:47we can hope that I think there is that things get worked out in the end but it's definitely ominous
00:53yeah it's an ominous moment about what um you know it could mean for the rest of of her life as well
01:00totally to me there's a kind of like it's a very bittersweet ending and to me it's kind of now this
01:07family is going to be able to talk about what happened and to talk about Polly and her story
01:13is going to keep on going it's not like the antagonist passes away and that is gone and those
01:18trauma and violence kind of like finds its way that deep down you know and everything that these
01:25girls went through unfortunately there's gonna be that past that their mom has in there you know
01:32and I feel like that's part of humanity you know like we we can't escape that it's not like we can now
01:37have a happy family and happy life after what happened you know like there was so much pain back then
01:42and that is also part of life you know that's kind of like what I wanted to say you know it's kind of
01:48bittersweet in that sense yeah
