00:00So in many ways for someone like myself who grew up in the inner city, you know, grew up extremely poor, you know, and the one thing that kept me going early on was hip-hop music.
00:11Hip-hop just kept me focused and, you know, created so many entrepreneurs, you know, because we pretty much had to start this out of nothing.
00:21You know, a lot of the music was made in homes, you know, our very first record was made in someone's apartment on like a four-track mix board, you know, and it ended up becoming something global.

00:37I was in Italy and I seen a German rap group performing Rapper's Delight in German in Italy.

00:50So for me, I look at hip-hop as something that the creator gave us to give us power, economic power, giving us a voice, giving us the ability to express ourselves in many ways.
