00:00We can talk every day about how important it is to think about data and how it informs our decisions.
00:06We also should think about what are the systemic issues that are at play and how can people basically get involved.
00:11That's right, yeah. And we did want to start this presentation with a quote by Ida B. Wells that we talked about,
00:19which is, the way to right wrongs is to turn the light of truth upon them.
00:24And that's really what we're trying to do with the data today is to turn some light on what's happening
00:30and what are these inequities that persist in work and wealth and health.
00:36Great. So the first thing that you need to know in the data is that the Harris Bowl has been pulsing the American public
00:42for the last 176 weeks through the pandemic, to the banking crisis, to where we're at today.
00:49And the thing that you need to know about the data is that we are not in a pandemic crisis anymore.
00:57We're actually in the state of a perma crisis.
