00:00Alex Fashion Row is a premier agency based in New York City and we act as a
00:05bridge between designers of color and brands and so we're actually in the
00:09middle of a pivot right now because so many consumers want to shop black brands.
00:17I think in 2020 we realized that if we want to elevate we are the ones who have
00:23to help each other elevate and so a shift started to happen and how we as a
00:28people shop and so with that we're thinking about more now about how do we
00:32create more opportunities and experiences for the consumer who
00:37actually wants to support black and brown designers. I exist to disrupt the
00:42whitewashing of sustainability and sort of and and sort of transform our thinking
00:50into what sustainable fashion looks looks like what it feels like and be a
00:55presence and voice for black folks in the sustainability space so that we can
00:59reclaim sustainability throughout fashion but also in wellness and beauty and
01:04recommend all things that we embody.
