00:00And during the darkest times, India stood up immediately.
00:04They didn't hesitate for a minute, but they weren't words of sympathy.
00:07It was just action.
00:09And India has countless times done the same thing.
00:12Whenever a tragedy happens, when a tragedy occurs, they've never politicized it.
00:16And they've been there on the humanitarian level, helping the people on the ground.
00:21So the Afghan nation appreciates it and sees it.
00:24India, in particular, has done a great job in being able to politically work with the Taliban without recognizing them,
00:32with understanding what the nuances is in regard to women's rights and what's happening.
00:40India has built up strong reputation amongst the Afghan people, the Afghan nation, and it can be built more on that.
00:47But the first thing that the Indians can do is supply more scholarships to Afghan women, support them online, support them any way they can,
00:59to educate them, to help them, to empower them, to speak, to only send female delegates to Afghanistan to speak with the Taliban.
01:07That's one step that every country in the world should do.
01:09And that's the only way to break the ice, is to bring financial pressure on them, as well as political pressure on the Taliban,
01:16to say, hey, you know, women are also human beings as well.
01:19They deserve a right to have their voices heard.
01:21They deserve a right to be seen as human beings.
01:25We're not asking for much.
01:26Afghan women are not asking for much.
01:28They're asking to be seen as human beings.
01:30And you don't hear as much coming out of Afghanistan these days because they're lived by the international community.
01:36So from India to the United States to all of the Islamic world, especially the Islamic world, which I haven't seen anything from,
01:46why are they not building that bridge?
01:48Why are they not building that bridge for Afghan women, for other Muslims to come in and speak with the Taliban and begin this?
01:55It's not happening.
01:57They're intimidating the entire world with their version of Islam, which they've self-proclaimed said that we are the only Islamic nation in the world.
