00:00There is so much of India and Japan which was really quite a surprise to me when I went there
00:04as ambassador and therefore people to people connect is important because you know what
00:09why because I feel there's a huge information deficit between our two countries you know we
00:14have a good feeling about each other and if you ask a Japanese about India you know he's very
00:19positive as are Indians about Japan but what do we really know about each other what do we really
00:24know about our cultural connects and I think this is an area where we must be working much more
00:30and what I do find and I'm very happy to find is that one of the outcome documents of this
00:34summit has been some an agreement and I think a memorandum of cooperation in the area of cultural
00:40exchanges which is really important you know and and why is this you know information about people
00:48and our connect important because this really fosters people to people connections
00:54have a lot of people and the people who see a lot of people that can
00:57understand the language.
