00:00Another student from Amity College. Kaira, thank you so much for speaking with us.
00:03We are talking and talking to Zenzi people, getting to know their opinion on what do they think about future of jobs.
00:09Which stream you are in Amity College?
00:11I'm doing my masters in clinical psychology from Amity right now.
00:16You know 50 to 60% of the jobs are going to get transformed because of AI.
00:21What do you have to say about, do you think that AI can be deployed in the world of psychology?
00:26I think AI is just an instrument that helps us do our jobs better.
00:31But I don't think it can actually replace us as human beings and replace our empathy in especially my field.
00:39So I don't know about other jobs but I think it can be used as a very useful tool in my stream to help with the diagnosis.
00:47But I don't think it can change psychologists or their jobs or copy our empathy towards our clients.
00:54So maybe they can enhance the knowledge, you being reading from a lot of subjects from AI but it can't be deployed to help the client.
01:01Yeah, we have DSM's and ICD's to help us with our diagnosis.
01:07So we can use AI to make our diagnosis more proper and more concrete but I don't think it can help us to streamline the process to which we study the client's symptoms and the client's prognosis.
01:24It can only help us with betterment of our prognosis.
01:28Do you have the integration of AI in your course also?
01:31No, not really.
01:32Do you think that it needs to have the...?
01:35As psychologists, we are taught to have a great deal of empathy in our careers and towards our clients and we are taught to be very warm.
01:44And I don't think AI can do that. And we already have a software in our course which is known as SPSS which helps us with our standards.
01:53But I don't think AI is anywhere useful as much as they teach it to us as a subject.
02:01A lot of people have been laid off by Amazon and other companies.
02:05I honestly think that there are blessings in disguise and they should take it as that because their resilience is the only thing that can get them through it.
02:16Nothing else, no one else. And if they want professional help, there are a lot of government helplines and student run helplines which are free of cost.
02:26And they should really reach out for help if they need it.
02:29And even from their companies if they need it. Because I think companies have a policy of giving them resources even after they have been laid off if it's on the basis of mental health.
02:41That's what HR's do. That's mainly why they are there.
02:46Because when you lay off an employee, it should give them closure, it should give them pointers.
02:59That's how I buy it.
03:01That's why I buy it.
03:02I'd like to sell you directly.
03:03You can buy it.
03:05When you buy it.
03:06I'd like to sell you as a hobby.
03:11Then you go into it and you can buy it, it should be.
03:13Then you can buy it.
03:15Then you buy it.
