00:34me what colours, first of all who are wearing such different outfits. I'm wearing something
00:39very blingy, dressy kind of thing. She's wearing something very chic, elegant. It's very Delhi
00:45Diwali vibes. Me? Yeah. Because I love Delhi. I love it. Delhi is where it's at in terms of
00:51Diwali. Yeah. So tell me what colours and what trends are trending this year, this season.
00:56I think I love colours so much. This is a really hot question because I'm like such a big believer
01:03of like every colour and everybody all the time. You just have to do it right. However,
01:08I will say metallics. Metallics are. Metallics are having a big moment. So like your silvers
01:15your goals. Metallics are having a big big moment. If you were to ask me if you were going
01:20to invest in a piece or were thinking of purchasing something that you wanted to be timeless, I
01:26highly recommend ivory and champagne. I feel like that does not go out of style. The ivory
01:31colour or the champagne colour. Champagne. Yeah. I mean, I think that's just such a classy colour
01:38shade. Like you'll be able to wear that in so many different ways, so many different times and
01:43like with different accessories and makeup, I feel like you can really make it look quite
01:48different. Correct. Correct. So, but then for girls who like minimalistic looks, okay. What
01:55about those girls? Suppose they don't want to go all out. So what do you suggest them? What
02:01should they invest in? What should they buy? How should they style themselves? Yeah, I love
02:05a simple thing. Like even this what I'm wearing, I feel like it's very simple, easy breezy, just
02:11a material and a print I like colour. I really liked and I was like, yeah, let's get it. So
02:16I think just something simple, but like what's stylish to you right now? What's we've talked
02:21about body shapes and what works with what? So I feel like you could in this country, especially,
02:27I feel like if you can find a good tailor, be best friends with them because once you realize what
02:33works with you, especially with Indian clothing, get things made according to what looks good on you.
02:38Another thing I feel like easy classic saree. Saree, what type? I think if you want, if you
02:46are somebody who wants a minimalistic, do a solid colour or do like a very light print, something you
02:51gravitate towards, nothing jazzy, nothing crazy. It really does not even have to have a border.
02:57What would you consider a timeless piece then for people who don't like to dress up a lot?
03:02When you think of a saree, close your eyes and think of a saree, what are the first few images
03:07that come to your mind? Kajol. Yes, the Bollywood idea. It's a plain solid colour chiffon saree.
03:14So I feel like literally nothing. And how do you accessorize that? I think that's something you can
03:19play around with with your personal style. Just like some nice, healthy makeup, depending on like,
03:24you want to do a smoky eye. Like just choose one thing, don't go over the top. And there's something
03:29like simple, clean, you could do like a little bindi, you could do little like earrings or chumkas,
03:34whatever is your vibe. And I feel like you could really lean into it and even in fact accessorize
03:39it and make it heavy if you are, if you ever want to change that look into a heavier look. But I think
03:44it's so simple, so easy, so classic. Yeah, what about budget friendly? What would you suggest to people
03:52who are not looking to invest that much on a Diwali outfit? What budget friendly recommendations would
03:58you give them? Yes, what you wore for your sister's wedding and get the lehenga skirt, go rob your dad's
04:09white shirt and I feel like that's so chic. I mean we've seen this for a couple of years now and I
04:15think that's a style that's here to stay. Just doing like a classic white shirt or like just a chic,
04:22I love a good white shirt and doing that with like a heavy, you know, embellished skirt like a lehenga
04:29skirt. And even if people want to re-wear their wedding lehengas or like what they want for wedding.
04:34But if they have to buy something that's budget friendly then?
04:37Um, I think sarees again are a very easy go-to. There's a huge range, you can look very different
04:46in different ways. If you're like a boho chic happy girl, I feel like these long skirts have been super
04:53in. So I feel like you can always do a long skirt with a lot of jumkas, oxidized jewelry, like a crop top
04:59long skirt, oxidized jewelry. I feel like Komal Pandey has been like the boho chic girls, I think there's cuteness there.
05:06Yeah, yeah, yeah. Also reverse with the wedding thing, you can like the wedding outfit thing,
05:10that you can use that heavy blouse and get a very plain, just like a very plain skirt made with it.
05:16Okay. It's a new fit. Okay, okay, okay. In 2025, what kind is working? Is it organza? Is it
05:27What's trending? Sequence? Is it minimal chic? What is trending in 2025?
05:34Well, in terms of when you mentioned sequence and you remember
05:39our mom's mom's wedding, mom's wedding, and in their outfits, there's this ghota work,
05:47yeah, ghota patti, ghota patti and just these old like little kulkare, where you like that.
05:53Correct. Do you know about the khara dupatta?
05:55Khara dupatta is the one with the secret?
05:57The thicc, right? The thicc border outside, the gold, ghota patti, it's a very old kind of a concept,
06:10but I really like it personally. Yeah, yeah. I think definitely all the old stuff, like fashion is
06:16circular, so all the old like regal stuff is kind of coming back. And I think ghota patti is just like
06:22a more economical and a more like, it was used more sparingly in clothing in that era. So I've seen
06:31a lot of boutiques using ghota patti this season in their work and like you said, like that's super
06:39into it. I did not know the term for that. The Hyderabathi Khara dupatta is, it stands the test of time.
06:48Yeah, it stands. No puns intended. No puns intended. What about the jewelry? Oh, also I think going
07:01back to that, long intricate detailed jackets are having a moment with like both sexes, like just
07:12a fabulous, you could wear whatever inside, literally jeans if you want to. That's having a super moment.
07:17Yeah, it's a great investment. And I think that look like very structured and very nice. Classy,
07:22chic, throw it on, go to places, it's very confident and easy, really no hassle and you just like a bad
07:28use. And what colors is that? Any color, whatever color you want. Okay. You could make it all colorful,
07:34you could make it black. So guys, yes, so you officially have no excuse to borrow your cousin's
07:41lehenga. You can go all out to Diwali or go minimalistic chic, whatever you like. These were some of the
