Little girl rushes out and mistakenly thinks her shoe has disappeared entirely

Sulema shared this adorable moment of Sofia, whose grand exit plan took a silly detour.

''We were on our way out to run some errands,'' Sulema told WooGlobe.

''My sister was trying to get the kids to put on their shoes.''

Just when everything seemed set for a smooth departure, Sofia, four years old and buzzing with urgency, sparked the twist.

In her excitement to dash out the door, she was convinced of a footwear disaster, while the whole time the so-called missing one was casually resting in her hand like a forgotten prop waiting for its cue.
