Met this sweet guy at the bar—easy laughs, good vibes, bought a round.
We walked to my place, chatting the whole way, super comfortable.
Inside, things got close… he noticed something, paused.
Eyes met mine. Softly: “…You’re trans?”
“Yeah.”
Quiet second. Then he smiled gently.
“Can I still kiss you?”
Heart skipped. “Please.”
He did—sweet, respectful, same warmth as before.
Later we talked. He said, “I feel dumb for not knowing sooner.”
I told him, “You didn’t freak out. That means everything.”
Next morning? He stayed. Made coffee. We split the last bagel like it was normal.
No drama, no rush out the door.
Just kindness. And sometimes that’s the biggest win. 💜
