As a trans girl, I’ve seen it firsthand:
Straight men feel attraction to us, and it forces them to face repressed desire, masculinity, and fear of losing their “straight” identity or status.
Society says wanting a trans woman threatens who they’re supposed to be—so instead of questioning that, it’s easier to reject us entirely.
They convert attraction into anger, denial, or disgust.
It’s rarely about us. It’s about the internal conflict they’ve been taught to fear when lines they thought were fixed start to blur.
