00:14I must say I am a little bit disappointed because I did ask to open for Nicki Minaj at the Superdome,
00:20and they gave me the press conference to close.
00:23So, I mean, I can't complain, but I guess I'll take it.
00:27We're settling today, but as you know, Essence never settles. Never settles.
00:33And the beautiful thing about being here in New Orleans is having an impact on the community
00:38and being here and showing up, and showing up loud, proud, and with all the black joy in the world.
00:46So I'm very excited to be here today and, you know, really also talk about Girls United.

01:02You know, it's really Essence's platform to do that, to provide them with the tools,

01:15the Ashe Cultural Arts Center, the Girls United team have all had a part in delivering what that is.
