A traveler who visited foreign lands loved to tell stories of his adventures. He bragged endlessly about a great leap he claimed to have made in the city of Rhodes. When asked to prove it physically, he could not. A tale about pride, exaggeration, and the difference between words and deeds.

00:04When he returned, he would gather crowds and boast of his incredible adventures.
00:10You wouldn't believe the things I've done.
00:12He'd say he claimed that in a city called Rhodes,
00:17he had performed a leap so great that no man could match it.
00:21He bragged about this mighty leap day and night.
00:25One day, a quiet listener in the crowd grew tired of the boasting.
00:29He stepped forward and said,
00:32Friend, if what you say is true, show us.
00:35Let this place be a Rhodes and leap for us now.
00:39The traveler was stunned into silence,
00:41for he could not prove his words with deeds.
