00:00it looks like George has moderate hearing loss really I think seeing George for one having a
00:27hearing test and going on his own deaf journey me seeing that as a young girl I think it would have
00:32just been quite special in a way that I felt seen and I could really relate to someone and also just
00:39feeling like I'm not on the own in that situation so I think it's just really refreshing to see that
00:44and hopefully it can educate so many kids along the way. This representation by having George kind
00:50of in the show with a hearing loss is really important because of the 54,000 deaf children
00:54across the UK around a quarter of those are like George deaf on one side so it's great to see that
01:00kind of group of children represented I think it really addresses some of those misconceptions that
01:05people might have about hearing loss that actually it's not a barrier to him being happy it's not a
01:10barrier to them having those great moments together as a family and it really helped I suppose that
01:15deaf community and deaf children in particular see see themselves on the screen
01:45people in a much more.
01:49Thank you so much.
