00:08Today we're going to talk about the best ever, the best ever, the best ever makeup remover.
00:15What I like in a makeup remover is it's going to be easy to apply to my face, not scrub off
00:20my skin in my face as it's taking the makeup off, not sting, not burn my eyeballs.
00:26I have a lot of requirements for makeup remover.
00:28I have a lot of thoughts about makeup remover.
00:30I have a lot of thoughts about the worst ever makeup removers.
00:34I hate when I lose eyelashes because I'm trying to get off my eye makeup.
00:40That's probably my biggest deal breaker.
00:44Coconut oil is my favorite form because over the last couple years I've been really into
00:49natural skin care, which is kind of contradicting to the fact that I wear makeup, but as far
00:55as skin care, the serums that I use, the moisturizers that I use, I try and keep it very natural.
01:00A lot of makeup remover wipes don't really get the makeup out of your skin.
01:06It kind of just takes off the first layer of makeup and I wear like layers.
01:09The makeup remover I'm talking about is coconut oil.
01:13Now I don't actually use this jar almost ever.
01:16That's why it looks brand new.
01:18What I use is this little jar.
01:21Every few months or so we'll take a spoon or two from this and put it into this.
01:28So because I'm not actually applying this anywhere other than right on my lips and right on my
01:34eyelids, I don't deal with problems that other people do with coconut oil like clogging the pores
01:42or making me break out because it's really not on my skin all that much.
01:46But if you're someone who has really sensitive skin or problems with clogged pores, then that's
01:51something to be aware of.
01:53So I'm going to take off half of my face so you can see what it looks like.
01:58Normally I just rub and then what happens is if I'm wearing like a red lip, I'll rub all around
02:07and I have this giant red clown mouth.
02:11And as you can see it kind of just like rubs around the whole area.
02:15Normally I'll just wash my face immediately afterwards and that gets rid of all the oil and all the makeup.
02:23I think that did it.
02:24I found that coconut oil works best for my skin because I have kind of combination skin.
02:30It can be dry sometimes, oily sometimes, but it doesn't break me out.
02:36It's kind of a one in all type of remedy.
02:40I have used olive oil in the past and I don't think it works as well as coconut oil,
02:45but there have been times when I just wanted to wash everything off my face.
02:49I've gone into my friend's kitchen, taken some olive oil and did basically the same thing that I do with coconut oil.
02:55So that is an alternative option.
02:57I kind of just go all out.
02:59A lot of times I'm just really tired at night, so I just kind of throw it on my face.
03:02So I'm going to do the same thing I would do if I was at home in my own company.
03:07No one judging me.
03:08When you're tired and you're young and you don't really plan things like me, this is the best way to go.
03:15So you can kind of see how that just came off the bottom part of my face.
03:21And I'm all clean.
03:22My favorite makeup remover is the Garnier Skin Active Micellar Cleansing Water, all in one.
03:28And I like the one that is for sensitive skin and removes even waterproof mascara.
03:33It says no rinsing.
03:34I rinse anyways because that's what I do.
03:37I'm not putting this on my face and leaving it on my face.
03:40But it's not like water water.
03:43It's like a juicy, oily, silky water.
03:46The best example to show the efficacy of this is to show you how I remove this dark lipstick.
03:52It's an ultra matte lip.
03:53It literally doesn't come off whether you eat, sweat, drink, whatever.
03:57It's not coming off.
03:58So I'm going to show you how I take this lipstick off.
04:03Not even like scrubbing it.
04:05And this is a paper towel.
04:06Seriously.
04:07You can see that it kind of got on the rest of my face.
04:10Because it feels kind of oily.
04:12It feels like if you were using an oil to remove your makeup.
04:16But again, if you can't put oils on your face because you break out, this is amazing.
04:21You don't need oil.
04:22You just need this thing.
04:23That took less than like two seconds.
04:25It's my favorite thing.
04:26So that's the best makeup remover ever that I love.
