00:00I am bursting at the seams of this new season.
00:03I literally cannot wait for everybody to see it.
00:06You know what we've created here, we have elevated the first season in a way that just people are not even ready for.
00:12It's going to be so much fun.
00:14It's going to be a real exploration and continuation of what we started in season one, but taken to a higher level.
00:22We got to see how Jax ended in season one, you know, it was a very traumatic experience that she had, you know, and so we get to see her in season two try to figure out how to navigate that, you know, what does that look like?
00:42And we get to see the effects of it on her life, you know, her marriage, her friendships, her career.
00:46I think, you know, in terms of character evolution, I think Louis is a guy like I think most people is doing the best that they can while they try to figure out how to pick up the pieces.
00:58And I think one of the things is also recognizing, like, picking up the pieces doesn't mean you have to arrange them back the way they were before.
01:07Mama Lou has a great art this season.
01:08And first of all, she broke through a big barrier between her daughter Jacqueline and what had happened to her that she didn't know.
01:19And then for her to have to deal with that.
01:22And then now they're in a good place and they're building a relationship that's really, really lovely.
01:28It's been such an amazing journey because what happens is, you know, I wrote the script during like peak COVID, like in 2020.
01:35And then, you know, it was kind of delays and then finally we got to shoot the pilot and, you know, we're still wearing masks season one, you know, shooting everything.
01:43And then it aired and I got this great response and it was just so gratifying to just, you know, you put so much work into something to see people have such a positive response about it and connect with it.
01:53I know when I watch TV shows, you know, I get excited.
01:56You know, when I watch something and it's really good and you want to tell all your friends.
02:00So the fact that people are doing that about my show was really special.
