00:03OK. Yeah. So according to The Shade Room, Beyonce just received her first Oscar nomination.

00:11She is nominated for her song Be Alive, which was on the King Richard soundtrack.

00:15And King Richard looks like it's a big winner this year because Anjanae Ellis has received her first Oscar nomination,

00:22along with her co-star Will Smith. Yes. Well, his actual this is a multi nominee for for him.

00:32But he will go against none other than the most nominated actor of all time, Denzel Washington,

00:40for his starring role in The Tragedy of Macbeth.

00:43And one of our faves, Questlove, received the nomination for his production in the movie Summer of Soul, the documentaries.

00:51Come on, Quest. Definitely. This is the second time that Will and Denzel will be up against each other.

00:58Denzel won last time. And I think this time it may go to Will.

01:03Also, we want to give a shout out to Ruth Carter. She was also nominated for Coming to America.

01:09Coming to America. Costume. Costume as well as makeup as well.

01:13Yeah. I think they snubbed Jennifer Hudson. And I don't like that.

01:19Oh, you think so? Yeah. They snubbed her for Aretha.

01:21She worked really, really hard for that. And I think she should have gotten a nomination as well as Lady Gaga in House of Gucci.
