00:00I'd like to ask Jimmy, sir,
00:04when you do roles, you feel a sense of responsibility as an artist, right?
00:08Because the stakes are so high.
00:10So how did you feel and what was your prep for this role?
00:17Good evening, everyone.
00:18First of all, I will forgive you that I am not in the look,
00:21I have played the role of Danova sir.
00:23You will see it in the trailer, I am shooting for something else.
00:26But for two years, we are almost in the look, everything is done.
00:31Now we have moved on.
00:33But this show will always remain with me.
00:37Before we went to Danova sir's house,
00:41we had a very wonderful lunch with him.
00:47Ma'am has played us.
00:51And after that, many things have happened in many things.
00:56There are some creative decisions that you have to take cinematic liberty.
01:02But otherwise, I think somewhere this show has remained true to the soul of the story
01:11and tried to be as real as possible.
01:14And that is what I felt when I had read the script.
01:17And that is what I felt when we were shooting it.
01:19And that is what I feel today after having completed it.
01:23Wow, absolutely fantastic.
01:26My next question is for Siddharth.
01:30Hi Siddharth, how are you?
01:31Siddharth Squadron leader Ahuja led one of the highest air force missions in the world.
01:39How did it feel to essay a dynamic character like that of Ahuja sir?
01:45Good evening, everybody.
01:48It has been the greatest honor of my life.
01:51That I was allowed to play flight squadron leader Ajay Huja.
01:58So I want to take this moment to…
02:00I want to take this moment to thank firstly Alka ma'am.
02:09Thank you for giving me the permission to play Ahuja sir.
02:15I want to thank the makers of this show for believing in this material
02:20and spending the last six years from curation till realization on what can only be called a dream
02:28project for almost all of us involved.
02:31I want to thank the Indian Air Force for giving us again, like I said, the permission to wear these
02:37uniforms to allow all of my co-actors and myself to live the lives of pilots.
02:51And I want to thank Dhanova sir.
02:53Tony sir, thank you for your belief.
02:55Thank you for all that you've done for us.
02:58And I can't wait for all of you to see this story.
03:03And operations of Eighth Sagar is a labor of love from a whole team.
03:07And it's an incredible creation of passion and integrity.
03:12And I want to thank Abhijit Parmar, Kushal Trivastav and Oni Sen for doing what they've done in
03:19in the show. Thank you so much for bringing this show.
03:21Abhijit Parmar, Kushal Trivastav and Kushal,
03:30you know,
03:32Operation Saffeed Sagar guys,
03:34this Kargil war is a way to draw through the lens of Indian Air Force.
03:38How and when did you, you know,
03:41realize that this story is very necessary to tell you this story?
03:45Actually, I am the first filmmaker of the world,
03:47who has trained the Air Force, Kargil.
03:55After Kargil, I joined the Indian Air Force
03:57and I saw Ajay Ujja sir on TV and followed the news on TV.
04:02So I think it was my responsibility to tell the story of the Air Force
04:06when I was not saying anything else.
04:10And how this is so big,
04:12I believe Tony sir.
04:15His rank is the biggest and my rank is the biggest in Air Force.
04:21So I don't know why he trusted me so much.
04:24And after that, Netflix and Matchbox supported Mahbub, Abhijit and us.
04:30And we created this.
04:32I am very thankful to everyone.
04:34And I am very proud of this project.
04:36Thank you so much.
04:38My next question is for Oni.
04:40I want to ask you, you know, while filming
04:42Operation Saffeed Sagar,
04:44if you want to, you know, take us through that.
04:49Good evening, everyone.
04:53I think one of the most overwhelming thing has been the responsibility.
04:59Because kaafi cheez overwhelming hota hai,
05:01but the responsibility of a real story, true heroes,
05:06and people who have sacrificed so much,
05:11every scene, every nuance to get it right.
05:15I think that responsibility I have never felt before.
05:18And I don't think I'll feel that responsibility ever again.
05:22So it's been a fantastic journey.
