00:00Hey everybody we're Xscape and guess what it's been a very long time since we
00:12had the opportunity to perform together on stage but on July 2nd we will be in
00:18the house and those that don't have your tickets get the tickets because you will
00:21not be disappointed. For the Essence Festival 2017 be there or hear about it.
00:25Xscape is back.
00:30We caught wind that somebody was you know doing an unauthorized movie about us and
00:59we felt like it was important for us to tell our own story. When I was you know
01:04expressing how I felt about our movie not being told right. Tiny also talked to
01:09everybody else about it. We all were on the same page and then you know she was
01:14able to just make everything else happen. So I'll give you the credit.
01:19We're just on our hustle. Everybody's been hustling you know since we've been out of the picture you know.
01:23And having kids at the same time. But we ain't never you know skip the beat or miss the beat.
01:30You know we're out there doing something to make sure we take care of our family.
01:33And now we're just back to give y'all a little bit more of what we gave y'all in the 90s.
01:37All of us have a really strong support system and our kids are you know they're very much aware of what's going on and they're championing all the things that we're doing so it makes it a lot easier when you have support.
01:47No we're working on the biopic. Next year will be our 25th year that we released our first number one single just kicking it and we're doing our biopic and within the biopic we will be doing original music.
02:01The Essence Festival is iconic. To me I felt like it was the perfect place for us to be able to reach people from all over. You know it's a big deal to be at the Essence Festival.
02:12I'm eager to get back with the ladies and do what we do. You know it's been a long time.
