00:00so when you were writing this movie with the nuances like did you add some of that stuff or
00:11did it all like all those little Easter eggs and things like that like you know all of that is you
00:17start doing that from the beginning of the writing process and you don't stop until the editing
00:23process really you can still find things you can you can still put in sounds and things to help so
00:29you know as far as the Easter eggs and the nuances that was a full-time job was looking
00:35for these connections and what about the cotton was the cotton really to symbolize I mean it could
00:41have been it could have been anything right but and all he could do is this so you know I had the
00:47choice of what so what's stuffed in there and then you know obviously cotton has a thematic meaning this
00:54was a detail that I didn't expect the audience to latch on to and and get I thought it would be
01:01missed that they wouldn't be looking for something like that and I'm just so happy that the audience
01:07is digging in rolling up their sleeves finding all these little Easter eggs I put in there I hear that
01:13there's like this alternate ending yeah is it on the DVD on the DVD you know originally the first
01:20ending that I scripted was not as happy and let's just say that it went one of the couple of directions
01:28that the audience is hoping it won't go and that was you know originally because I wanted to sort of
01:34make the make a hard point and and not let the audience off the hook but by the time the movie was
01:42sort of finished and ready it was very clear that the audience needed a little bit of an escape so
01:50I I'm very much a fan of the the ending that is in there now but you can see the darker version on
02:00the blu-ray I'm glad we got to see the light thank you yes give them what they want
