The previous sculptural design is replaced by a minimalist concept focusing on individual iconic high-tech elements. The design is reduced to the essentials, conveying a highly modern and elegant ambiance.
The highlight of the interior is the optional, floating MBUX Superscreen, which spans the entire width of the vehicle. Behind a large glass surface are the 26-centimeter (10.25-inch) screen for the driver and the 35.6-centimeter (14-inch) central display, both featuring LCD technology. After the GLB's market launch, the MBUX Superscreen will be available with an additional 35.6-centimeter (14-inch) screen for the front passenger as an optional extra. If no passenger display is installed, a trim element with a star pattern graphic continues the glass design in this area. In conjunction with the ambient lighting, it is also available as a backlit version.
