00:00Tulsi Gabbard has been tapped by the President of the United States to oversee
00:04the sanctity and the security of our American elections.
00:08She's working directly alongside the FBI director, Kash Patel.
00:12This is a coordinated whole of government effort to ensure that our elections,
00:17again, are fair and transparent moving forward.
00:19I don't see anything wrong with the president tasking cabinet member to pursue
00:23an issue that most people want to see solved.
00:26Maybe you don't, but I know many Americans do want to make sure our elections
00:29are protected and that's what Tulsi Gabbard is focused on.
00:32Again, what I was just telling you is that with the passage of the SAVE Act,
00:35voter ID will be implemented across all 50 states.
00:39The President was referring to specific states in which we have seen a high degree of fraud.
00:43If you look at states like California or if you look at New York City, for example,
00:47non-citizens are allowed to vote in elections in places like California and New York City.
00:53That just creates a system, an electoral system, that is absolutely ripe with fraud.
00:58And you cannot deny the fact that, unfortunately, there are millions of people
01:02who have questions about that, as does the president.
01:04He wants to make it right and the SAVE Act is a solution to doing it.
01:07President Trump will be the ultimate decider of any policy changes on anything,
01:12especially with respect to immigration enforcement.
01:15What I will tell you is the president is never going to waiver in enforcing our nation's immigration laws,
01:21in protecting the public safety of the American people,
01:26in his ardent support of ICE and Customs and Border Patrol,
01:29who, unfortunately, the Democrat Party has made a decision to demonize.
01:33I heard Senator Schumer referring to them as Donald Trump's Nazi secret police force,
01:39I believe, were his words.
01:40I don't recall that same language being used when President Obama was in the White House
01:45and was deporting millions of illegal aliens from our country using this very same agency
01:50and these very same agents, who, by the way, have jobs because of the laws that were passed by Congress.
01:55So as for policy discussions that will take place, Congress will have those.
01:59The president will decide on those.
02:01You saw yesterday Secretary Noem announced that DHS agents on the ground in Minnesota
02:07will begin using and wearing body cams.
02:10That's something DHS is looking to roll out nationwide, assuming they have the funding for it.
02:16So that could be part of the discussion.
02:17I know Tom Homan has been on the ground in Minnesota.
02:20He's there again today for direct dialogue with state and local officials
02:24to move these conversations forward as well.
02:27And I think you'll be hearing more from Mr. Homan tomorrow on some of the progress that has been made.
02:31So, look, we're willing, obviously, to have this dialogue and to talk and to listen,
02:35but we are not going to concede in enforcing our nation's immigration laws
02:39and delivering on the mandate the president was given by nearly 80 million Americans to deport
02:44illegal alien criminals.
