00:12Performing on Sunday at the Super Lounge, 7 o'clock. I'm really excited.
00:16This is my first time here too, so performing.

00:21Listen, I need every, I can't think of any reason why you would not be at the Coca-Cola Super Lounge at 7 o'clock.
00:27Because I'm performing there and we're going to have a great time. It's my first time here and it's all about the music.
00:31And I know you love good music, so come out.

00:35Like Trey Sons would have took his shirt off to get people to come.
00:38I make the type of music that makes everybody else want to take their shirt off.

00:43So tell us a little bit more about your music and your sound.
00:46I like to call my music Soulternative. I like soulful music. I like meaningful lyrics.
00:51And I also like to experiment with different sounds and stuff like that.
00:54So I play the keys and I sing and I try to put music together that makes people feel something.
01:00Now a lot of women are down at Essence Festival right now. A lot of single women.
01:06So what would a woman have to do to be able to get a date with you at Essence Festival?
01:10You know that's a funny question. I think that for me to answer that I would have to say what would I have to do to get a date with them.
01:16Like with those sorts of situations, you got to meet in the middle.
01:19Like are we attracted to each other and are we confident enough to be honest, you know, about that attraction.
01:24I want to meet in the middle with somebody, you know.
