00:00Let's start on the Eastern Conference.
00:03Give me a team to watch the second half of the year in the NBA.
00:08The Boston Celtics, Coach.
00:12I still think it's a championship.
00:14Now, they need stuff to happen.
00:16You've got to get Jason Tatum back.
00:18The reports were very positive heading in that direction.
00:21Then all of a sudden last week we find out that Jason Tatum is thinking about it a little bit more
00:26and maybe he won't return this year.
00:29If he's cleared, you've got to come back.
00:32And I understand the mental hurdles and that kind of thing, but it's your job to work through that.
00:37If he's not cleared, he can't play.
00:39But if you're cleared and you still just have a little mental hang-up,
00:42I think you've got to get over that and come back and play.
00:44Here's why, Coach.
00:46You have a chance to win a championship, okay?
00:48You're not coming back on the Hornets or the Wizards or the Hawks.
00:52You're coming back on the Celtics.
00:55And what if they go trade for Jaron Jackson Jr.?
00:57They trade Ja, and then, you know, they kind of bottom out here and rebuild.
01:01What if Boston gets Jaron Jackson Jr.?
01:03We know that they're going to be in the market for some kind of help at the big position.
01:07So they check that box.
01:08They get Jason Tatum back.
01:10They have a chance to win the gold ball this year.
01:12So that's the team I'm watching out for in the East.
01:14And that makes a lot of sense, especially if you go and address the big situation.
01:20You put a front line of Jaron Jackson Jr. with Jason Tatum and Jalen Brown,
01:24obviously the backcourt, obviously, you know, with Derek White.
01:28That's a team that can contend in a wide-open East.
01:31I'm going to stick with the team that knocked them out of the playoffs,
01:34and that's the Knicks.
01:35If they can continue to play defense at a high level that they are now.
01:42There's talk about their kind of switch.
01:44Their ball screen coverage was a little bit more simplified.
01:47And instead of what we call, here we go, coach speak, funneling it to the middle,
01:51they're funneling it to the baseline,
01:53which funneling to the middle doesn't make a lot of sense with spray out in three.
01:57So the Knicks are a team to watch.
01:59Also, they're a team to watch because we don't know what they're going to do.
02:04There's reports.
02:05It depends on who you listen to.
02:06Brian Wynhorst says nothing.
02:08Ian Beckley says a lot.
02:09They're in on someone.
02:11They're going to make a move.
02:12It'll be interesting to watch.
