00:00Newly released Epstein-related documents reveal that a former assistant to Jeffrey Epstein told

00:04federal investigators that Epstein introduced Melania Trump to Donald Trump. According to an

00:09FBI document dated November 2019, an unnamed former Epstein assistant stated under a proffer

00:15agreement that Epstein was responsible for introducing the future president to his wife.

00:19The statement was made in July 2019, just days after Epstein was arrested and charged with child

00:24sex trafficking. The document, which is 11 pages long and heavily redacted, was included in a recent

00:30release of roughly 3 million Epstein-related files. The woman, a former model, worked as Epstein's

00:37assistant for about a year between 2005 and 2006 and was granted limited immunity to speak with

00:43federal agents and prosecutors. In the document, the woman said she was connected to modeling agent

00:48Paolo Zampoli, identified as someone who worked with ID models. The file states that Epstein and

00:53Zampoli were attempting to buy elite models and that Epstein introduced Melania Trump to Donald

00:58Trump. Zampoli later became a longtime associate of Trump and currently serves as a State Department

01:03Special Envoy. The claim contradicts Melania Trump's public account of how she met her husband,

01:08including the version detailed in her 2024 memoir. It also conflicts with past statements from Donald

01:13Trump, who has said the two met through someone else and not through Epstein. The FBI record also

01:19documents the woman's employment under Epstein and describes her as both a witness and a victim.

01:24Detailing alleged abuse during her time working for him. In response to questions about the document,

01:29the White House pointed to a Justice Department warning that materials in the Epstein files may

01:34include false or unverified, a nerf by claims submitted to the FBI. The department stated that

01:40some allegations against Trump are unfounded and previously reviewed. The disclosure has renewed

01:45attention on conflicting accounts of how Donald and Melania met following the release of the latest

01:49Epstein-related records. Drop your thoughts in the comments and don't forget to like for more breaking
