01:27In a meeting in Malacanang, the Transportation Department presented its ongoing measures and future plans.
01:35This include the rehabilitation of train facilities at the MRT Kazan Avenue Station,
01:41as well as the continued implementation of cashless payment systems at the MRT,
01:47which will also be rolled out at LRT Lines 1 and 2 this year.
01:52Repairs and upgrades of the remaining Dallian trains of MRT 3 are also underway,
01:59aimed at speeding up train services and reducing wait times.
02:04Looking ahead, partial operation of the North-South Commuter Railway are set to begin next year,
02:11running from Valenzuela to Malolos, Bulacan.
02:14By 2028, train services from Malolos to Clark are expected to follow.
