00:00Quentin, who's always attempting to educate me in cinema, since it's my life, you know, and know nothing about it, he's just always trying to, you know, get his two cents in there, was talking to me about genre filmmaking and how in genre filmmaking and exploitation films, they actually had more challenging, more powerful roles for women than even mainstream cinema and the kind of the great roles of Pam Grier and this one and that one.
00:26And he started talking about revenge films and it was in that evening that we sort of went back and forth and the character of the bride was born and, you know, that she was an assassin and the wedding chapel massacre and the sort of drama of all that.
00:39And then on the spot, he invented the arch nemesis, the agent of assassins, the ultimate pimp of assassins, sort of the Obitzian, you know, mass murderer of assassins and titled the movie Kill Bill on the spot.
00:55That was the beginning of the movie.
