00:00I am a little disappointed with Atletico Madrid's winter transfer window this month.
00:03So you're probably wondering what he's complaining about, because we've had Ademola Lukman,
00:06We're going to have a little Seattle crack, etc.
00:07But still, there are two things that worry me.
00:10Firstly, why does the transfer window last from January 1st to February 2nd if everything happens in February?
00:14No, because Ademola Lukman is our first signing.
00:17and it was made official at 6:40 pm on the last day of the transfer window.
00:20And secondly, why don't we have a replacement for Conor Gallagher?
00:23And why haven't we recruited a decent left-back?
00:26Regarding the first point, what annoys me is that we sold players at the beginning of the month.
00:29We sold Conor Gallagher to Tottenham, we sold Raspadori, Carlos Martínez Gone
00:33and we sold Ravigalane outright even before the transfer window.
00:36Yet, there's no guy who's arrived before today
00:38and I am convinced that if Diego Simon had had, for example
00:41a replacement for Conor Gallagher for the match against Bodø/Glimt
00:43or the match against Eventé,
00:45Well, maybe we wouldn't have lost against Bodø/Glimt
00:47and maybe we would have won the match against Eventé.
00:48Because now, we're starting to get injuries
00:50whether it's Griezmann, Simeon, Barrios, etc.
00:52Finally, we need substitute players.
00:54Okay, we have an 11-type that's more or less viable
00:56But you also need players to rotate them.
00:58Because this season, I'm going to be very demanding of Diego Simeon.
01:00But if we sell him 4 players and wait a month before recruiting...
01:03And we haven't even filled everything in yet, well, that bothers me.
01:05And what's the problem with recruiting players like that at the 28th minute at the end of the transfer window?
01:08Well, in the case of Marcos Leonardo
01:10where the transfer failed, well, that only leaves us a few hours
01:12to find a fallback solution.
01:13And you know very well that panic bails like that
01:16at the last second of the transfer window in 9k out of 10
01:18It's crap.
01:19It's not financially profitable.
01:20because the selling club will inevitably benefit.
01:22And often, sometimes, in fact, it doesn't work.
01:24That's not consistent.
01:25And so, we got ripped off.
01:26So yes, we recovered months at Lookman
01:27I made a video about it, it's very good, certainly.
01:29We should pick up the little Mexican, Obed Vargas style.
01:32So, I'm going to make a video about him.
01:33because he's a relatively unknown player
01:35But on the other hand, what we do know is that normally
01:36It should be repeated.
01:37In other words, for now, it is 7:29 PM
01:40so I'm counting this video
01:41We don't have a replacement for Conor Gallagher.
01:43We tried guys like Ederson from Atalanta
01:45That's not done yet.
01:46We're currently trying out Rodrigo Mendoza.
01:48Finally, what annoys me is that there
01:49We do everything, we panic, etc.
01:50In addition, we could potentially lose
01:52Alexander Sorlotte in the final hours of the transfer window
01:53And I'm not going to lie to you, if I'm not
01:55against a departure of Sorlotte
01:56In exchange, it's a real replacement
01:58but when I say a replacement
01:58He's a true number 9
02:00A number 9, a guy who scores goals.
02:01In short, we'll see tomorrow.
