00:00Around 900 ISIS members are now being held in Iraqi prisons, as al-Arabiyah exclusively documents the ongoing investigations with the detainees following their transfer from detention facilities in Syria.
00:16As part of this case, a special body has been formed under the supervision of the Iraqi judiciary to oversee all stages of the investigations, including documenting confessions and determining the roles and affiliations of the detainees within the organization, including those holding foreign nationalities, in preparation for sharing information with international security agencies.
00:40The transfer of ISIS detainees is not yet complete and will continue in phases, in coordination with the international coalition and under understandings between Damascus and Washington, alongside the start of implementing an agreement between the Syrian government and the SDF.
01:01The detainees will remain in Iraqi prisons until the investigations are concluded, with the aim of uncovering files that have remained unclear for years regarding the group's structure and networks.
