00:05Nigerian star footballer Ademola Lukman is set to join Atletico Madrid,

00:10leaving behind his now ex-club Atalanta Bergamo.

00:14The 28-year-old had reportedly been seeking to secure transfer since 2024.

00:20Among the potential contenders for transfer were Paris Saint-Germain and Arsenal,

00:26but Lukman ended up joining neither of these clubs.

00:30He has however now accepted an offer from Atletico Madrid,

00:34rejecting a more lucrative proposal from a Turkish club.

00:39The Nigerian forward has already arrived in Madrid according to a press release by his new club,

00:45where he will undergo a medical exam and formalize the contract.
