00:00Grammys were held last night.
00:04Let's talk about some big winners.
00:06It looks like Shibuzi and Jelly Roll took home the Grammy
00:09for Best Country Duo Performance for Amen.
00:13Best Traditional Country Album Winner.
00:16Traditional Country Album Winner went to Zach Topp.
00:19Love it.
00:20Ain't in it for my health.
00:21Best Solo Performance went to Chris Stapleton, Bad As I Used To Be.
00:24The Contemporary Country Album Winner was Jelly Roll's Beautifully Broken
00:29and the Contemporary Christian Performance Grammy went to Jelly
00:31and Brandon Lake for Hard Fought Hallelujah.
00:34Oh, so cool.
00:35So he was a big winner and he was really busy because he,
00:39well, this was his acceptance speech for the album.
00:45There was days that I thought the darkest things, I was a horrible human.
00:48There was a moment in my life that all I had was a Bible this big
00:51and a radio the same size and a six by eight foot cell
00:54and I believed that those two things could change my life.
00:56I believed that music had the power to change my life
00:59and God had the power to change my life.
01:02And I want to tell y'all right now, Jesus is for everybody.
01:05Jesus is not owned by one political party.
01:08Jesus is not owned by no music label.
01:10Jesus is Jesus and anybody can have a relationship with him.
01:14I love you, Lord.
01:15Pretty amazing stuff.
01:17Yeah.
01:18So, you know, we hear Jelly preach as he often does.
01:22And, you know, we all go to the church at Jelly Roll, right?
01:24Like, he's always doing it.
01:26But he did what few of his contemporaries did last night.
01:30He was asked in the press room backstage about the current state of politics.
01:36And Jelly refused to answer.
01:39Wow.
01:39He said, people shouldn't care to hear about my opinion because I'm just a dumb redneck.
01:43I hate to be the artist that sounds aloof,
01:45but I just feel so disconnected from what's happening right now.
01:47He was like, you know, when you're, when you grew up in a drug addicted house,
01:52you have no idea what's going on in Washington.
01:56So I'm not the right person to ask right now.
01:58But he did say that everyone will be hearing exactly what he has to say
02:04in the most loud and clear way that he has ever spoken in his life
02:09within the next couple of weeks.
02:11Whoa.
02:12So something big is brewing right now with Jelly Roll.
02:16Yeah.
02:17Yeah.
02:19Yeah.
02:20Yeah.
02:21Yeah.
02:22Yeah.
02:23Yeah.
02:24Yeah.
02:24Yeah.
02:25Yeah.
02:26Hi.
02:26Yeah.
02:26Yeah.
02:26Yeah.
02:27Yeah.
02:28Yeah.
02:31Okay.
02:31I was, yeah.
02:33The knowing that he was a friend,
02:34what,
02:35going to work off of a problem on that didn't happen.
02:36So that's the difference I think.
02:38Yeah.
02:39I wish that we knew.
02:40But, going back on myा It's gone,
02:41it's goneick.
02:42Yeah.
02:43We know you don't know trying to hurt,
02:44Yeah.
02:44I'm afraid.
02:45Yeah.
02:45I see.
02:46Into this now.
02:46It's gone.
