Iran says its military is on full alert. Its top commander warns Israel and the United States: one mistake could put the entire region at risk.

So what’s really going on—and how serious is this warning?

Tensions in West Asia are once again climbing, and this time the message from Tehran is unusually direct. Iran’s top army commander says the country is more prepared for war than ever before.

Speaking at the “Young Soldier of the Armed Forces” ceremony, Major General Amir Hatami declared that Iran’s armed forces are operating at peak defensive readiness, with full coordination across the army, air defense, missile units, and other branches. He said Iran is closely monitoring what he called the “enemy’s movements,” adding that the military is fully aware of their intentions.
In his words, Iran’s finger remains on the trigger.

00:30going on and how serious is this warning? Tensions in West Asia are once again
00:36climbing and this time the message from Tehran is unusually direct. Iran's top
00:42army commander says the country is more prepared for war than ever before. Speaking
00:48at the young soldier of the armed forces ceremony, Major General Amir Hatami
00:53declared that Iran's armed forces are operating at peak defensive readiness
00:58with full coordination across the army, air defense, missile units, and other
01:04branches. He said Iran is closely monitoring what he called the enemy's
01:09movements, adding that the military is fully aware of their intentions. In his
01:14words, Iran's finger remains on the trigger. Hatami warned that any
01:19miscalculation by Israel or the US would immediately put their own security, their
01:25forces, and the wider region in serious danger. His comments follow a dramatic
01:30escalation earlier this month. On June 13, Israel launched strikes on Iranian
01:36territory, hitting military, nuclear, and civilian sites, killing senior commanders,
01:42nuclear scientists, and civilians. Iran responded with large-scale missile and drone
01:48strikes targeting Israeli military sites and settlements. Days later, the conflict
01:54widened when US forces struck three Iranian nuclear facilities. Iran retaliated by
02:00targeting a US base in Qatar, damaging parts of the installation. By June 24, after
02:07heavy losses, fighting came to a halt. According to General Hatami, that short but
02:13intense 12-day conflict changed everything. He claimed Iran confronted the most advanced
02:19military technology, cyber capabilities, and hybrid warfare tactics and learned from it.
02:25He even compared Iran's experience to Russia's ongoing war, saying Iran gained unique
02:32battlefield insights in just days. His message was clear. Iran believes its deterrence is now stronger and
02:40more resilient than before. Hatami also warned that any future attack on Iran wouldn't stay contained.
02:47He said neighboring countries refused to allow their land or airspace to be used against Iran,
02:53and that war would spread insecurity across all of West Asia. Iran insists sanctions and economic
03:01pressure will not weaken its resolve. As the US expands its military presence in the region, Iran says that
03:08presence fuels instability, not security. For now, the fighting has stopped, but the warnings are louder than ever.
03:16So the big question remains, is this deterrence holding the line, or are we closer to another confrontation?
