00:00Raise your hand and we'll come to you.
00:02If you're all ready, we'll kick off with Alex from the BBC.
00:04Hi, Michael. Congratulations for the win.
00:07I knew that's third loss at home here in the Premier League this season,
00:10so how pleased are you for that?
00:13Well, very, very happy, obviously.
00:17A very impressive performance, a very impressive result.
00:20And in the context that we've done it,
00:22when you have all the difficulty of the game
00:24and the opponent that we're facing with the recent form
00:26and the style of play that they have at the moment,
00:28the energy that the stadium brings.
00:32And then the fact that after three results
00:35that didn't go our way in the league,
00:36we really wanted to show how much we wanted it.
00:40And I think we certainly done that today.
00:43You talked about Bakayosaki had to come out of the warm-up.
00:46What is the issue you had there?
00:47So in the warm-up, he had a little niggle.
00:49He wasn't comfortable to start the game,
00:51so immediately we made a decision to make that change
00:54and bring Noni in.
00:55And he was ready because you cannot do that in two minutes.
01:00The way he prepares, the way he's waiting for opportunity,
01:03I think he paid off today because it really impacted him.
01:07Charlie, Sonny?
01:08Are you pleased for Noni, though?
01:09Because he's had to wait for it.
01:10You know, be patient.
01:11To make an impact like that just shows the strength that you've got.
01:15And then, of course, you bring on Martinelli.
01:17He sets up the goal as well.
01:19I mean, it's incredible what you can call on.
01:21Yes, but that's only possible if those players are with the right mindset.
01:25And we talked before the game, it's going to be a long game.
01:28We're going to have to navigate through different moments in the game.
01:31And we're going to need everybody fulfilling the role that he has on the day.
01:35And I think the players executed that incredibly well.
01:38You mentioned the context of the three previous league games.
01:43Was that as much today about mentality and sort of answering some of those questions from the outside?
01:48No.
01:49Mentality is good.
01:51And the mentality, I mentioned it to you,
01:53to play with that level of enjoyment about where we are
01:57and then with a conviction to believe in what we do and how good we are
02:01and that we can beat any opponent.
02:03And we certainly don't that.
02:05But then you have to show the quality as well in this league to do it.
02:09And it came out in great ways from different players as well.
02:12You started with Kai in midfield.
02:14What was the sort of thinking behind that and Martin going to the bench?
02:17Sorry, sorry?
02:18You started with Kai today.
02:20Ah, yeah.
02:21Well, Kai understood.
02:22Sorry, no.
02:22Because of the type of game that I expected as well
02:25and how aggressive and direct they've been recently
02:28and I believe that the game was going to allow us more spaces
02:33and the temperature will come down in the second, third part of the game
02:37and that's what we could have changed again
02:39with different qualities in the team.
02:41Tom, from Rich.
02:42Just on Martin, who came off, he was involved in the third goal,
02:46he set up the fourth goal.
02:47Considering there's been a lot of talk around him recently in his form,
02:49you must be delighted to see him respond in that way.
02:51So happy.
02:51So happy the way he reacted.
02:53But in general, the team and obviously certain individuals is normal.
02:56The opinions, the noise is part of that.
03:00What we can control is what we can do, how much we want it
03:03and trying to get the best out of yourself and the team in every moment.
03:07The rest is not possible and we don't have to be judged on that
03:13because there's nothing else that we can do apart from giving our best.
03:18Yes, sir.
03:19Well, it's very impressive, but I mean, we talk about that noise,
03:35but it was a great noise as well, the fact that we were the first team
03:38in the Champions League to win in a row.
03:40That's a lot of noise, but a very positive one.
03:42We want to talk always more about the other noise.
03:45The other noise is part of that.
03:46The expectation is to win every game.
03:47We compete against incredible opponents and we know that's the case,
03:52but that has to fuel your energy and desire to win more than anything else,
03:57in my opinion.
03:57And with Martinov, he comes onto the pitch and has a great impact on the play.
04:01Does that sometimes show in terms of wider context that no player's position is safe,
04:05as in the captain, even he can be on the bench?
04:08It's not safe.
04:09It's that the role can change because the game has different needs
04:12and we play every three days and the fact that you can contribute
04:16and help the team to win from a different angle.
04:18I think it's a great thing to understand.
04:22Not so easy in certain players, but Martin and the rest,
04:25they certainly done that today.
04:27Change ESPN.
04:27How important is it until you get back-to-back defensive resilience and that level of control?
04:38Yeah.
04:39Well, it's something that we want.
04:41You always have an opponent in front of you that is going to test that
04:45and you have to execute the action and being very, very consistent
04:50if you don't want to concede nothing.
04:52And really impressive because it's a really tough team to restrict them to that.
04:57And between all of us, we've done it.
04:59Could you do a last couple of questions?
05:00Hi, Miguel.
05:01You had some nice words to say about Leeds after August.
05:03You've had two very good results against them this season.
05:05But nevertheless, how difficult have they been to play against?
05:07Very difficult.
05:08Do you think they've got enough to stay?
05:10I think so.
05:11And I think what they've done, I think, is very smart.
05:14I said it.
05:15It's really tough.
05:16They are really well organized.
05:17They have threat.
05:18They have quality.
05:19They have a lot of variation in relation to game context to play in different ways.
05:24Yeah.
05:25And they have an amazing stadium with a beautiful atmosphere of football
05:29that brings the level of the rest of the team to a really difficult level to match.
05:36So, yeah, I hope they do.
05:40Just a follow on that.
05:41You've been around the country this season, around Europe as well.
05:43Is that one of the most hostile atmospheres you've faced this season, you say?
05:47No, the world.
05:48I would say beautiful football atmospheres.
05:50I mean, when you talk about the tradition and the history of this league,
05:54this kind of state, this kind of atmosphere and people,
05:58that's what it makes it unique.
06:00So, it's a joy to play football in these kind of grounds, these atmospheres.
06:04Yeah.
06:04Okay, everyone.
06:05Good night, everyone.
06:06Okay.
