Pendant des décennies, Les Sparks Brothers, Ron et Russell Mael, ont réussi à bluffer la scène pop par leur son baroque et totalement inventif. Pas forcément hyper connu du grand public, le groupe a démarré sa carrière à la fin des années 1960 dans l'univers pop-rock avant d'évoluer vers le glam rock, la synthpop et la new wave. Edgar Wright, le réalisateur de Shaun of the Dead et Hot Fuzz, interroge des fans célèbres comme Flea, Jane Wiedlin, Beck, Jack Antonoff, Jason Schwartzman, Neil Gaiman, et d'autres.
