00:00Welcome to Decentralized News. Interesting story. A collector of a Bored Ape number 7256 made a mistake, sold the Ape for $161, but they paid $513,000 for this.
00:18So the collector named OneKiller purchased the Bored Ape 7256 for $188,000 a month ago at the time. It was worth about $513,000. On June 1st, they sold the Ape for $0.088, or $161.
00:40It's not quite clear what happened, but it seems clear, maybe likely, that it might have been a listing error.
00:49OneKiller posted, sort of had posted and then cancelled listings for the Ape several times in the week, and as recently as four hours before the actual sale,
01:01all between $250,000 and $145,000 ETH, suggesting that they were in control of their account and made a mistake while entering the listing value.
01:12This is something that a lot of people are doing silly mistakes. I don't know who these collectors are, but clearly, you know,
01:21maybe they just don't play around in the crypto space a lot enough to, you know, ensure that, you know, you don't make such a, you know,
01:30kind of errors when it comes to irreversible transactions. So there you go. Somebody got away with a Bored Ape for $161.
01:41Just like that. Let me know what your thoughts are. Don't forget to like and subscribe, share the news, and I'll see you again in the next video. Peace.
