00:00Salaam peace everyone it's been a long
00:05time it's been a long long time I know I arrived in
00:10Egypt May 7 and I actually left Egypt and arrived
00:15back in the USA July 1st and
00:20I apologize if I kept you all in suspense rather
00:25I was going to say expense I apologize but you
00:28know Egypt was such a one
00:30wonderful experience for me and it was just a lot to
00:35understand it all it was such a beautiful experience
00:40Egypt is a quiet polite society and
00:45I really am looking forward to returning going back at
00:49least
00:50once a year if not two or three times you know in the
00:53beginning you probably
00:55saw all the luggage I had when I first arrived in Egypt and
00:59the reason
01:00for that was I was actually going to Egypt to find a
01:04second
01:05second home I was planning on staying in Egypt
01:08probably six months when I got there and
01:13I was and that's why I had the luggage I was just going to
01:17set up home
01:18and then come back to the state but you know by the time it was
01:23time
01:23time for me to leave Egypt I decided that would not be the case
01:28at least not at that point and then when I got back home after
01:33you know it's been six months now I believe since I've been back so I've
01:38decided
01:38Egypt will not be my second home but it will be
01:42Egypt will not be my second home but it will be
01:43Egypt will not be my second home but it will be
01:44Egypt will not be my second home but it will be

01:51Egypt will not be my second home but it will be
01:52Egypt will not be my second home but it will be
01:53Egypt will not be my second home but it will be
01:54Egypt will not be my second home but it will be
01:55whenever I go to Egypt. And if it's two months, it'll be once a year. So I'm
02:00thinking two times a year, about six to seven weeks.
02:05At a time when I go, I decided that I will not make Egypt my second home.
02:10Because my family is here, you know, my siblings, and of course my children.
02:15They're adults, but nevertheless, we have to be accessible to each other.
02:20We lost our mother February 19th. And
02:25you know, that was our only parent. Our father is, he's passed away. So, you know.
02:30As you get older, you just realize how important family is. And you just
02:35want to just hold on to him, you know, just, just.
02:40Have them near to cherish them. So that's the reason why, of course, I'll be spending.
02:45Most of my time here in the States. And Egypt will be a.
02:50place that I go to visit and to really just absorb the culture.
02:55Uh, Islam, um, you know, it's just a beautiful.
03:00Things. So what I've decided to do is just release back.
03:05What's the word behind the scene experiences of my time in.
03:10Egypt. You know, when I was editing all those videos, I didn't know.
03:15Or rather, I, there were parts that I decided not to include. And.
03:20Thank goodness. I kept the videos because now what I could.
03:25Do is let you in just a little bit on some of my.
03:30Experiences that I did not choose to put on film.
03:34And, and they're not.
03:35Not bad experiences, but you know, wherever you go, you're going to have some hiccups. So.
03:40That's kind of what I want you to see the hiccups because they were really humorous to me.
03:45Now that I look at it and it's all in good nature and.
03:50You know, it's all in love. It's nothing, uh, that's makes Egypt look.
03:55Bad at all.
03:56Because honestly, I didn't have any bad experiences, you know.
04:00I just had some hiccups here and there, nothing serious. So this is the first.
04:05Of the behind the scene videos and.
04:10And this is going to be a travel channel. So by the time I'm through upload.
04:15Downloading the behind the scenes of my visit to Egypt.
04:20Inshallah, I will be back in Egypt.
04:22And so I'll share my experiences again with you.
04:25When I return to Egypt.
04:28Okay. So take care of yourself.
04:30Inshallah, I'll see you soon.
04:35Okay. So the brother, he is going to take me.
04:40On a little cruise in the boat and he said for like.
04:45200 Egyptian pounds.
04:47So that's $4 for one hour.
04:50Why not?
04:50Yeah. And then at the same time, I can help someone and he's helping me.
04:54You too.
04:54I love.
04:55I love it here.
04:55I'm so glad that I came, you know, we in America, we have what I was saying.
05:00We have so many fears, but it's not that way when you go to other.
05:05For the most part, you still have to be careful, but I'm going to go now because he's bringing the water for me.
05:10Okay. So he was just letting me know.
05:15Okay. So he was just letting me know they're going to bring the water to me.
05:20And this is it.
05:25This is the ride that I'll take to the other side.
05:30It's going to be about an hour.
05:34And so.
05:35Everything is working out the way I want it because I did want to ride along.
05:40So I get a chance to now.
05:42Elephantine Island, the Nubian village.
05:45The homes look completely different from the outside.
05:48I've been into a few homes.
05:50I looked at a few apartments because inshallah, I will be coming back to Nubia.
05:55Over and over and over and over again, I was thinking about having my second home.
06:00Here, but this is just going to be a place where I come visit.
06:03Okay. I'm back. I keep coming.
06:05I'm back.
06:06But I see partly why it's called Elephantine Island.
06:10Because that, that right there looks like it could be an elephant.
06:14So they said it's because.
06:15Because of the rock, the natural, the way the weather carved the rocks.
06:20Sometimes they look like elephants.
06:22That one looks like an elephant to me.
06:24Oh.
06:25Okay.
