00:05from Davos on Thursday night to a meeting with Vladimir Putin in Moscow in the hopes of
00:10inching the Russian president closer to peace. It's the latest attempt at ending the nearly four
00:15year war between Russia and Ukraine. Before leaving Davos, Whitcoff told reporters
00:20that negotiations between the two warring countries were down to one issue.
00:25And that was it. Whitcoff frustratingly did not offer a single detail or a clue
00:30as to what that issue actually is. He did say, quote, if both
00:35sides want to solve this, we're going to get it solved. The word if.

00:45Now, the Kremlin sit down comes on the heels of President Trump's closed door meeting with his
00:48Ukrainian counterpart.
00:50Vladimir Zelensky at Davos in Switzerland. The two leaders spent an hour together in
00:55private and then didn't take questions from the media after their chat. But Trump did weigh in.
