New footage reveals Alex Pretti clashed with federal agents a week before he was killed

The footage shot on 13 January comes amid rising public uproar over the Trump administration's immigration crackdown, with many Democrats and protesters calling for federal immigration officers to leave Minnesota.

00:00New footage emerged revealing Alex Prady
00:05in an altercation with federal agents just 11 days before he was fatally shot by
00:10border patrol officers. Prady can be seen yelling at the agents as they drive away
00:15he at one point kicks at the taillight of the vehicle which causes it to shatter
00:20the move prompts an officer to get out of the car and he continues to forcefully pin Prady to
00:25the ground some agents join him while others direct themselves at the
00:30looking crowd. It is unclear whether Prady manages to break
00:35fear if the agents let go as he scurries away at some point in the video Prady turns
00:40his back to the camera which reveals he is carrying a gun in his waistband at no
00:45point in the video does he reach for the weapon bystanders yell
00:50the officers to go before the agents set off tear gas canisters and eventually with
00:55draw. Just go! As the officers drive away a man approaches to ask
01:00Prady if he is ok Prady confirmed that he is and then turns to ask others if they are saying
01:05I'm ok I'm ok are we all ok? Are we all safe? Are we ok? The Department of Home
01:10Homeland Security said it is reviewing the footage. Prady's killing comes weeks after
01:15another US citizen Renee Good was shot by immigration agents in Minneapolis
01:20all seated in the car. The two deaths sparked widespread anger and criticism
01:25over Trump's immigration crackdown.
01:27On Wednesday, hundreds joined a vigil to honor
01:30pretty.
01:31It was him, but it could have been any of us.
01:33I mean, he was trying to help.
01:35Someone, and that's kind of what we're all about,
01:37what we're always trying to do.
01:40Similar vigils also took place in other cities,
01:43including in Washington, D.C.
