U.S. President Donald Trump has again warned Iran that “time is running out,” urging Tehran to quickly return to the negotiating table on a “fair and equitable” nuclear deal and citing a “massive armada” of U.S. naval forces moving toward the region led by the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln, larger than the fleet previously sent toward Venezuela, and prepared to act “with speed and violence, if necessary.” Trump tied the warning to past U.S. strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities in June 2025 and said failure to agree could lead to military action “far worse.”
