00:00When, you know, speaking of another AFC team that's also looking for head coach, let's turn to the Cleveland.
00:05And Joe, this is a really interesting dynamic because we have seen various head coaches.
00:10Offensive coordinators have pulled their name from consideration.
00:15For the Browns head coaching vacancy.
00:17So right now, where are you looking when it comes to.
00:20The Cleveland's next head coach.
00:22Again, you read the reports.
00:25Now, supposedly they wanted the written test that they wanted coaches.
00:30To obviously take prior to the interview process, both supposedly.
00:35Jesse Minner and now new Chargers offensive coordinator, Mike McDaniel.
00:40You know, backed out of that.
00:43So again, when you look at that list.
00:45You say, okay, who's left and what real coach embodies the Cleveland.
00:50Browns perspective and think about some of the former head coaches that the Browns have had.
00:55Morty Schottenheimer and you just think of Bill Belichick.
00:58You think of defense.
01:00I mean, the only one that potentially fits that mold could be Jim.
01:05Schwartz, an old school type of coach.
01:07Is that going to get you to the promised land?
01:10Ben, the question, Tom, is, is Shador Sanders the answer?
01:15A quarterback, because if he is, or they're at least going to roll with him.
01:20And you have the situation with Deshaun Watson and all that quarterback room.
01:25You need an offensive guy to cultivate that and coach that up.
01:29Otherwise.
01:30You get a defensive guy, they're not going to be anywhere more than what they are right now.
01:34And that's.
01:35That's the bottom of the AFC North.
01:37Right.
01:38And when it comes to the Browns.
01:40The constant question that we heard throughout the season after Shador Sanders took over.
01:45Is that there were still reports that the Browns may still be in the quarterback market in the.
01:50Upcoming draft.
01:51So we have a team that could potentially be taking a quarterback.
01:55A quarterback that obviously has a name brand at this point with Sanders, but is unproven.
01:59And then.
02:00You still have this quarterback question mark with Deshaun Watson due to the contract, essentially.
02:05That they are tied to with him.
02:06So it has to be an offensive guy, but to know that you were going.
02:10Into that situation with so many question marks and so much uncertainty.
02:15This has to be a long road ahead for the Browns.
02:17The coach going there has to know that this is.
02:20Not a one or two year turnaround.
02:22And frankly, to me, that means taking a shot on a younger upcoming.
02:25OC who's willing to prove himself.
02:27And frankly, I just don't know.
02:30Who wants to go there and go through that?
02:32Yeah.
02:32I mean, again, we're Kingsbury.
02:35He's on that list.
02:36He's a veteran coach.
02:37You know, second go around from his days and hours.
02:40Arizona, knowing what he did with Jaden Daniels, or do they view him as just.
02:45Being a potential system guy that doesn't really, you know, that plateaus out.
02:50And doesn't take an offense to the next level.
02:53I mean, if you're Cleveland again.
02:55I mean, if you have your choice of the list, you would hope that you could potentially throw a ton of money.
03:00At Kubiak, but if I'm Kubiak, I'm going into a different organization than.
03:05You know, losing one in the Cleveland Browns.
03:06So it is interesting.
03:08I mean, we see she'll have.
03:10Everybody else there at 84%, he's supposedly going to ink the deal with.
03:15Within the next couple of days, but that doesn't mean that it's a sign sealed.
03:20This is a dysfunctional organization that has.
03:25Made terrible moves, especially at the quarterback position.
03:29And if they're going to be in the.
03:30Market again to fill that void, you really have to think twice if you're.
03:35Offensive guy going to Cleveland.
03:38Now, when it comes to.
03:40Be coaching hires, coaching hires that have been filled across the league in the new teams.
03:45Which of these do you think is the best fit and which of these are you the least excited about?
03:50Best fit has to be Josh Allen.
03:52I mean, again, just just to work with an MVP.
03:55MVP type of caliber talent and knowing that, hey, I have James Cook.
04:00One of the best running backs that could not only run the football, but catch it.
04:04I have two types.
04:05Right ends that I could work with.
04:06And Dalton Kincaid and Dawson Knox, if I get the right.
04:10Type of wide receiver talent, maybe in the draft or through free agency.
04:15If this offense can cook, that's what I would want to see.
04:18I mean, if I'm a veteran.
04:20Coach or a new guy, especially an offense of mine and I'm Kubiak.
04:25I got to be licking my chops to potentially work with Josh Allen.
04:28I mean.
04:30Just the trajectory that I could take the Buffalo Bills to.
04:35In year number one, any other job potentially.
04:38Cleveland, we don't know who the.
04:40quarterback situation is Arizona.
04:42What are they going to do with Kyler Murray?
04:44Right.
04:45Jacoby Brissett isn't the answer.
04:46And Las Vegas, you're starting with a rookie quarterback.
04:50There's no guarantee that Fernando Mendoza is going to turn out to be this.
04:55You know, elite quarterback a la Caleb Williams and Jaden Daniels type of.
05:00You know, athleticism.
05:01I'm not suggesting that he fails.
05:03What I'm saying is there's no.
05:05Guarantee what I know is that Josh Allen from his body of work in his.
05:10Resume is one of the most athletic quarterbacks and dynamic quarterbacks, not just in the.
05:15But all the NFL, if I'm a coach, I'm going to Buffalo before anybody.
05:20I'm going to Buffalo before anybody else.
