00:00What would you do if you were diving and suddenly saw this?
00:03An entire pod of curious dolphins coming to check you out.
00:06Well, diver Caitlin Kirby grabbed her camera and filmed the whole thing.
00:10She says she was diving just off the coast of Honolulu,
00:13and that's when these 20 dolphins showed up.
00:15You can see the dolphins swimming under, over, and around her.
00:19Though she wasn't able to identify what species they were 100%,
00:22she believes they're Hawaiian spinner dolphins.
00:24Spinners are known for their acrobatic performances,
00:27often showing off in coastal waters around the world.
00:30They grow to be 4 to 7 feet in length and weigh up to 170 pounds.
00:34They're also capable of swimming down to depths of up to 1,000 feet.
00:38Kirby says she's been diving for some four years.
00:41However, this is the first time she's ever seen a pod of dolphins underwater,
00:45saying about the encounter that it brought her pure joy.
