00:31¿Qué es Alexa Plus ahora en México?
00:35¿Cómo va a ser tan mexicano que todas las personas que ven a nosotros van a decir,
00:40oh, esta es la nueva Alexa por el esteroides?
00:42Sí, bueno, gracias por permitirme hablar en inglés.
00:46Me encanta el español, mi español no es suficiente para continuar en español.
00:49Pero déjame decirte, esto es una nueva Alexa.
00:53Alexa Plus is built on the new generative AI capabilities.
00:58We use plenty of large-naguest models and that allows Alexa Plus to get us closer to our vision
01:04of the best personal AI assistant with these ambient capabilities.
01:10And Alexa Plus is not just smarter, it is more personalized.
01:16It knows you better, so it can serve you better.
01:18It's much more conversational, as you saw in the demos before.
01:22But also, it's unique in the sense that unlike all the other chatbots or applications you use,
01:29can take real actions in the real world.
01:33And then, of course, we are also particularly proud that we made it very Mexican.
01:36It's very originally Mexican.
01:39The only way we could do it is by having a great team of product builders here in Mexico
01:43and let them make sure that the personality, the conversational capabilities were truly original.
01:51Now, a lot of people are going to say, well, Alexa is smart right now.

01:57I ask for a lot of things.
01:58But now it's going to be more natural.
02:00Well, and something that surprised me is she can remember things about you, about your family.

02:14Yes, as you said, the original Alexa could do a lot of things.
02:19It required deterministic technology.
02:23So we had to make sure that for every question we had the right answer.
02:27So we keep going and we keep asking questions.
02:30She remembers what you already talked about.
02:31She builds on top of the topics that we had.
02:35She knows also my kids.
02:38She knows their age.
02:38She can adapt to the age and the type of conversation.
02:42And then something that is new and makes it even better, we have built phenomenal new devices.
02:51And I hope you saw some of them downstairs and you heard the sound and all that.
02:55Phenomenal.
02:56But the other good news for customers is that we want to make Alexa Plus available to as many customers as we can.
03:03So we made Alexa Plus working on basically all devices we sold ever in Mexico.
03:11There are very few exceptions.
03:12The very first, the very older devices.
03:15And I don't have the right numbers.
03:16I don't know if it is only, you know, Alexa would work with more than 95, 99% of the existing devices.
03:23But it is the large, the vast majority.
03:25And the four customers don't need to buy a new device.
03:29Even though on the new device they have the best, the fastest experience they can have with the best sound.
03:37So just to finish, right now, a lot of people will say, hey, I'm going to try it right now.
03:42And I have an Alexa, I have an Echo right now.
03:44So they can access right now, it's going to be like in the coming months.
03:47If you buy a new Echo, you are.
03:49Let me say, if someone is in a rush.
03:51The best way to get it immediately is to buy one of the new devices.
03:54And that comes with Alexa Plus.
03:57And also, many customers have bought the devices we just launched for Christmas.
04:03And they will have it immediately.
