00:00GOG's met its new boss and it's, well, same as the old boss, literally.
00:05It just got bought out by Sayday Project co-founder Mikhail Kaczynski.
00:10Which might be good news because Kaczynski reckons much can be done with GOG without losing its core values and the way it operates.
00:18And that doesn't mean taking on Steam, the thousand pound gorilla in the game store room.
00:24Steam is winning with its ease of use amidst Kaczynski.
00:27For any company, trying to tackle Steam is a very hard battle.
00:31We've seen Discord launch their store.
00:34We've seen Epic Games launch their store.
00:36All of them fail to dent Steam.
00:38So GOG will focus on what it does best, curation and preservation.
00:43GOG has its own strengths and really should focus on maintaining them and even strengthening them.
